Case study · US compliance platform, energy sector
Compliance platform
A compliance platform that turns federal and state emissions rules into clear tasks and auditable records for oil, gas and power-generation operators.

- Technical lead for the engineering team.

1,200+air-quality rules tracked
130+US jurisdictions covered
5-yearauditable record retention
The problem
Oil, gas and power-generation operators have to follow a dense mix of federal and state air-quality rules, and which rules apply depends on each engine and piece of equipment. Tracking that in spreadsheets doesn’t survive an audit.
What the platform does
- Works out which rules apply to each engine or piece of equipment.
- Turns obligations into compliance tasks with owners and due dates.
- Keeps inspections, maintenance and permits as auditable records that meet five-year retention requirements.
- Produces fleet and compliance reports automatically.
- Gives customers and their vendors a secure portal for sharing data.
Working in the field
Many sites are remote with poor connectivity. We built an offline-first field app so inspectors can record data at a well site or plant and sync it when they’re back in coverage.
My role
Technical lead for the engineering team: architecture, delivery and deployments, and the main technical contact for the client.
